Our client an Exploration & Production Company in Qatar is looking for a role of MP NDT Engineer based in Qatar.

Activities

Promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other CLIENTHSE procedures in all activities,

Carry out work in compliance with CLIENT values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed CLIENT priorities and objectives, CLIENT standards and procedures and good industry practices,

To treat all information obtained during course of the work with confidentiality,

To participate in the different Contractors and Critical Vendors Kick Of Meetings and Pre-Inspection Meetings,

To be involved in the Surveillance and Inspection activities,

To review and validate the Non Destructive Testing Procedures and method statement guidelines,

To participate in the qualification of PAUT system,

To participate in the NDT operators qualification / testing,

To use PRODOM for reviewing and approving documentation,

To promote Quality in the Projects and provide Quality and Technical advices,

To participate in the resolutions of the Technical Queries, Deviations Requests, NCRs and Concessions Requests,

To lead investigations of significant Quality failures,

To lead or participate on qualification/assessment/technical audits over Contractors and Vendors,

To provide weekly & monthly status reports including KPI's to Head Projects QA/QC,

To participate in the Project Close Out,

To issue any lesson learnt, Quality Feed Back Notice or Feedbacks affecting Non Destructive Testing.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Qualification: Master's degree in welding - RT, UT and PAUT qualified following ISO 9712:2012 Level III (PCN, COFREND or CSWIP),

Professional Experience (number of years) : 15 in a similar position. Project experience required on pipe-line and FPU, FPSO, FSO, offloading buoy facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry. Familiar with automatic welding and PAUT system,

A good knowledge of CLIENT Standards and International codes/standards related to design, fabrication and inspection following DNV for pipe-line and classification rules for floating installations,

Good leadership skills and good communication skills,

Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,

Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications,

H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
