Integration Methods Engineer (Rotation 10/2) / Nigeria

My client is a leading Operator within the oil and gas industry. Looking to add to their onshore team based in Port Harcourt, Nigeira. This will be working on an offshore project.

Dimensions of Position:

The project development is an offshore wellhead platform in block OML99 in Nigeria that will be tied-back to existing Terminal facilities and operated by the Client under the TEPNG / NNPC Joint Venture. THE PROJECT is located in 20m water depth and 20km from the shoreline (15km from Terminal).

Production capacity is 32kbl/d, gas capacity is 3.5 Mm3/d and water injection is 72kbl/d.

The project consists of new installations including a platform (jacket and topside), 12" production pipeline (from THE PROJECT to Terminal AMD2), 12" water injection pipeline from Terminal AMD3 to The project platform, submarine cable (combined 3.3kV electrical cable and fibre optic cable) from Terminal AMP2 to The project platform, and new facilities on Terminal complex for THE PROJECT integration (including piping, E&I, OPPS, ICSS, etc.).

The offshore installation activities on the existing Terminal complex for the integration of the project will be performed in SIMOPS. Similarly, drilling and well connection activities on the project platform (after first oil) will be performed in SIMOPS.

Responsibilities:

SIMOPS:

Provide Company technical support to the SIMOPS preparation activities by Contractor and review the deliverables (including work procedures, JRAs, PTWs, etc.) ensuring that JV feedback/ recommendations from previous SIMOPS workshops organized by Company are fully integrated.

Participate in SIMOPS related meetings including JRAs review meetings, kick-off meetings, pre-job meetings, etc.

Prepare the COMOPS and SIMOPS matrices and liaise with TERMINAL OIM for their timely review and finalization.

Prepare the SIMOPS dossiers.

• Follow-up the development of the COMOPS and SIMOPS activities during the execution phase with a pro-active approach to avoid any deviation or conflict.
• Ensure regular update of the SIMOPS dossier.
• While on site, maintain efficient and smooth coordination between the parties involved in the site COMOPS and SIMOPS execution activities (Contractors, The project brownfield, SURF and Terminal organization).
• Ensure strict adherence to all requirements expressed in:

1. The Group referential with particular focus on CR EXP 010 "Construction and Production Simultaneous Operations" and CR EP FP 450 "Drilling and Production Simultaneous Operations SIMOPS"
2. The TERMINAL HSE standards and recommendations

• Assist his/her hierarchy to issue SIMOPS feedback report at end of THE PROJECT SIMOPS and contribute to the preparation of management debrief presentations.

Integration:

• Provide Company support to Contractor during the writing of THE PROJECT Operating Manual, review the deliverables and ensure their early validation by Company.
• Write the project operational procedures as per OPERGUID.
• Assist his/her hierarchy to develop the project Black Start-up procedure, as well as, the procedure for the project production pipeline dewatering pigging during 1st oil start-up. Ensure the incorporation of recommendations from HAZID, HAZOP and PRs (Project
• Reviews) in the procedures.
• Liaise with JV entities (Base Support and Terminal) to identify existing Terminal documentations impacted by THE PROJECT modifications and update them accordingly.
• Supervise PI data preparation by ICSS Contractor, review the PI input data template deliverable and coordinate with JV PI team and HQ for final review and data upload in existing PI (PDS) server.
• Work with JV PDMS team to integrate the project wells in the existing PDMS during the commissioning phase.
• Ensure that the project production allocation calculations are tested fully in the PDMS (with HQ assistance if required).
• Assist his/her hierarchy to prepare Training modules for Operators.

Other Duties:

• Assist JV Well Performance entity to prepare the project wells clean-up and ramp-up program or procedure.
• Participate to the review of Commissioning and Start-up documents issued by Contractor including OTPs, leak test plan, etc.
• Participate to the site supervision activities by the project FOPs personnel during offshore hook-up, commissioning and start-upphases.
• Ensure that the project SIMOPS and Integration activities are scheduled in the JV offshore Integrated Operations Planning (IOP) andare maintained up to date.
• Perform the review of MIEC documents assigned to him/her.
• To carry out any other activity within the limits of his/her abilities as may be assigned to him/her from time to time.
