Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Bishop Auckland - £36k basic plus bonus

A leading manufacturing of construction materials is looking for a committed and professional Electrical Engineer to work alongside the maintenance team; ensuring downtimes are kept to a minimum and to increase production. This will be a panama continental shift pattern, working days and nights with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities

• Essential electrical maintenance
• Attending breakdowns as and when they occur quickly but methodically
• Improving OEE
• Adhering to high health and safety standards at all times
• Working to the PPM schedule

Essential skills

• Apprentice trained Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Level 3 or equivalent
• 17th or 18th edition
• Good IT skills
• Heavy industry experience
• High standard of fault finding
• Siemens PLC
• UK Driving licence

Desirable Skills

• ONC Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing
• Control of contractors and external suppliers
