One of the largest international Engineering Consultancies are currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join their team in Melbourne on a contract basis. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded company with much opportunity for internal progression.
Key responsibilities of the role include: preparing data sheets and engineering specifications, reviewing the existing design of instrumentation and control systems to identify opportunities for improvement, building upon current preventative maintenance systems for critical instruments and reviewing current reliability of instrumentation and determining remediation strategies if required.
To be successful, you must possess a minimum of 5 years’ of experience specifically engaging in gas projects, backed by an engineering degree in a relevant field. Additionally, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills working within a team environment. A solid knowledge of instrument controls and design is a must.
