Brief Posting Description

Plan and execute the discipline Drawings and Layouts, Specification, Data Sheets and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in accordance to the International Standards utilizing the latest world-class techniques for Mechanical, Piping, Pipeline, Process, Instrumentation /Control, Telecommunication, Civil / Structure and HSE as per the defined project time frame

 

Detailed Description

Prepare designs and detailed engineering Layout drawings and uphold the maintenance of updating surface/subsurface facilities Layout drawings utilizing the available Resources / Manpower allocation.

Ensure continuous maintenance of all Engineering data, Records, and Documents by utilizing the available Resources / Manpower allocation.

Estimating the Project Deliverables of various Disciplines & Performs supervisory functions to ensure compliance in accordance with the Project's Scope Requirements.

Coordinate the Design interface between the Disciplines Engineers and various engineering disciplines as well as Consultants/ Contractors on matters regarding Design & Drafting, Project Deliverables,  computer applications and engineering records company standards, deliverables etc.

Coordinate the preparation of designs and detailed engineering drawings and ensures the maintenance of updating surface/sub surface facilities drawings.

Facilitate in technical audits to ensure the accuracy, completeness, integrity and quality of drawing packages prepared for multi discipline projects for compliances with international codes, standards and company procedures.

Facilitate developing strategies and integration solutions to 3D modeling plant design system (PDS),electronic management system (EDMS) Engineering tagging system in MAXIMO and 2DCAD application (AutoCAD & Microstation).

Participate in technical reviews and meetings with consultants to analyze drafting and tagging requirements and advice on viable options.

Provides timely, accurate and complete progress report to Sr. Layout Engineer (Discipline wise) / Design Engineer (Process / HSE).

Maintains current knowledge of international standards and other accepted engineering standards.

Identify and highlight important and less important facilities in design

 

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Engineering Discipline

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
