Sensor Tower Platform (STP) Project Lead (Offshore Topsides and Pipelines)

Our client is an internationally renowned Oil & Gas operator that is looking to recruit a Senior Tower Platform Project Lead on a long-term contract basis to work out of Qatar.

Job Purpose
·Responsible for the delivery of STP FEED package within the schedule and budget, and in accordance with the technical requirements..
·Coordinate the preparation for the call for tender in line with the contractual strategy approved by Senior Project Management.

Key Job Accountabilities
·Ensure project deliverables and activities associated with STP package are achieved in accordance with the project milestone dates, budget and technical requirements of Basis Of Design.
·Coordinate preparation for the call for tenders in line with the contractual strategy approved by Senior Project Management.
·Support the preparation, coordination and negotiation of the STP element of the EPCI Contracts in accordance with Contract and Procurement strategy approved by Senior Project Management.
·Prepare the unpriced proposals recommendations for STP component for EPCI Contract award.
·Support the preparation of STP Gate 3 deliverables or inputs and meet the QGPMS requirement in due time.
·Maintain regular communication regarding STP progress within Offshore Project and Partners.
·Identify STP project risks and implement mitigation measures. Report Risks to the Head of NFE Offshore Facilities and FEED Manager.
·Manage Contractor achievement in accordance with contractual requirements.

Minimum Requirements
·Tertiary qualifications (Tertiary Engineering Degree) and / or professional registration in a relevant engineering discipline e.g. Structural, Telecom, Controls.
·20 years of experience minimum in the area of design (FEED) and (EPCI) of offshore Oil and Gas Production Facilities (FPSO, Semi-Submersible, Wellhead Platforms).
·Experience of Project management as Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager.
·Experience with management of Contract.
·Preferred Senior level technical expertise in engineering discipline such as Structural or Controls and Telecom.
·A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
·Pro-active.
·Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant applications, database
·Excellent communication / written skills and ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
·High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, pre-commissioning, offshore installation and hook-up and offshore commissioning of Oil and Gas facilities.
