We are currently recruiting for a Domestic Logistics Project Lead to be based in The Hague. It's a full time position with one of the biggest oilfield service company worldwide.
Job Summary
Responsible for domestic process adherence. Identifying and proposing optimization opportunities both in transport spend Fleet Utilization and Network optimization. Overseeing the global domestic deployments, competencies and performing regular trainings on the latest function related systems Digitalization and initiatives.

Reports to Domestic Logistics Operations Manager and maintains close working relationships with the following:
- GM Distribution Team
- Systems and Analytics Teams
- Procurement & Sourcing Team
- Global Traceability Team
- Global Operations Integrity
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure the Domestic SOPs are followed
- Propose Cost saving opportunities on rates and fleet sizing
- Analyze in country domestic trucking volumes and lanes
- Identify and propose Network optimization opportunities
- Ensuring domestic team is up to date with latest function related trainings
- Owner of Domestic Logistics Dashboard
- Owner of Domestic Logistics SharePoint
- Global Logistics systems training and process implementation
- Obtain Monthly progress reports from Country teams, Consolidate and present to HQ
- Lead ERP continuous improvement
- Any other task where support may be needed
Preferred Skills / Profile
- Fluent in English Language Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree, required, and/or master’s degree (preferably) in Logistics
- 5+ years of overland transport experience
- Ability to think strategically, analyze large amount of data and information objectively, and formulate out-of-the-box recommendations or new strategies
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power Point
- Understanding of general Road transport processes
- Proficiency / working knowledge of TMS/OTM preferred, but not required
- Working style / other skill sets:
- Work independently
- Prepare and maintain routine records
- Maintain good working relationships with supervisors and peers
- Collaborate with various teams and organizations
