The Role: Logistics Supervisor

Location: Marseille, France

Type: Staff based

Duration: TBC

Objective: Participate to develop best-in class integrated logistics services for offshore oil & gas companies

Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities:

  • Conduct reconnaissance missions in project countries in order to define and develop an adapted Logistics operational support strategy based on local partnerships and sub-contractors.
  • Define the best adapted logistics structures and means (Logistics base, marine assets, and passengers transport etc…), required to support future Logistics integrated operations.
  • Liaise with local partners and with the companies other entities (Marine, Mobility, Subsea) to seek for potential synergies.
  • Define and select the local or international suppliers to support the Logistics strategy based on company compliance requirements and the established standards. Contribute to the technical and commercial evaluation and participate on the selection of all services contractors will be used in different project.
  • Lead the tendering process by defining, writing and submitting a safe and cost effective Integrated Logistics Offer including technical, HSE and commercial proposals.
  • Position based in HQ Marseille but when requested, be deployed on location to support the project and act as Logistics Representative
  • Act as responsible for all day-to-day operations and to deliver services to O&G clients  KPI: Revenues and profitability as per budget, TRIR, client satisfaction
  • Participate on Monthly HSE debriefing meeting with each Logistics representative deployed in country to keep some follow up on the companies' HSE Standards.
  • Lead the Logistics Engineering service

Oil & Gas Logistics, HSE & Compliance, Autonomy, Dynamism, Commercial spirit, capacity to work in corporate organisations, Entrepreneurship and ability to deliver, Lead by example, Organizational effectiveness, Team Management, Procedure and written documents development, digital tools

Minimum Qualifications & Experiences:

Qualifications: Engineer level I, Master Degree in Logistics or equivalent

Experiences: 10 years minimum of experience, of which 5 years in O&G E&P Company in Logistics department (support to Production & Drilling)

Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written)
