Mechanical Maintenance Fitter – Coleshill – £30,000 - £35,000 + Overtime – Continental shifts

A leading Manufacturer of heavy industrial products is looking for an experience Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to support their maintenance team providing reactive and preventative maintenance to a range of plant equipment

The role is a shift based position – Continental shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure production machinery is working at maximum efficiency
• Implement repairs / overhauls / installations of equipment as and when required
• Ensure any work undertaken is in a safe and secure manner
• Complete both reactive and PPM
• Provide shift cover when necessary

The successful Maintenance Fitter will:

• Be a time served / apprentice trained mechanical engineer
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Sound knowledge of steam boilers / steam generators / autoclaves / pressure
• Be comfortable working a Continental Shift pattern
