Our client, a nationally well-recognised PQS Consultancy is actively seeking an experienced intermediate Quantity Surveyor to continue the growth of their Wellington business.
Within Wellington this company has a close-knit team that’s well balanced from Senior Directors to hands-on delivery focused Quantity Surveyors. They deliver a multitude of different projects across the healthcare, commercial, educational, residential and retirement sectors to name a few.
The joys of working for a PQS Consultancy of this size is that they have streamline processes and aren’t bureaucratic in the slightest, the different business units throughout the country assist each other on projects so no office is overly stretched resulting in a flexible working environment and supportive culture.
Within this role we’re seeking candidates that can hit the ground running with minimal supervision therefore a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor is a must, whether that’s been for a PQS consultancy, main contractor or multi-disciplinary engineering firm. They have a range of different personalities within the office so we’re seeking someone who’s outgoing, personable and has the ability to interact well with team members.

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- The ability to create and maintain long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- The current legal right to live and work within New Zealand
