Sr Flow Assurance Specialist / England

Our client is conducting Coral South FLNG in the Rovuma Basin, a field-to-shore development of the deepwater Rovuma Basin gas field, one of the largest gas Upstream projects in East Africa, currently in Post FEED / Execution phase. For them we are hiring a Sr Flow Assurance Specialist to be based in Basingstoke on long-term contract.

You will be responsible for Flow Assurance analysis during the execution phase, Steady State and Transient Analysis, defining the Subsea FA operating Philosophies, liaising with Contractors. Mostly the FA analysis will relate to the Subsea Production System (from bottom hole to receiving facilities): steady state, shut-down, turn-down, restarts, start-up, ramp-up, depressurizations, close-in; plus Hydrate inhibition requirements, Chemical injection distribution system (MEG, MeOH, CI, Scale inhibitors).

Your background is likely to include transient and steady-state thermal and hydraulic studies, pipeline sizing, pressure and flow behavior, hold ups and ramp up analysis, start-up and operating procedures (shut-down, depressurization, pigging, etc.), hydrate / wax studies, working on OLGA, PVTSim or similar thermodynamic packages, Hysys type simulation, PROSPER, GAP or similar well steady-state simulators / optimizers. Target rate is c£500/day LTD, negotiable. We normally pays within 7 days. Ideal start mid-June 2019. Due to the way this client books contract the duration will be for an initial year, however most contracts extend and the project is much longer.
