Project Manager - Commercial Construction and Interior Fitout / New Zealand

This major player in the Auckland market has established themselves by valuing their collaborative, relationship focused approach whilst aiming to dynamic and seeking out other avenues to improve efficiencies. They have an impressive portfolio of projects within a multitude of different spaces including multi-storey car parks, office block developments, and educational facilities to name a few.
First of all this position will be responsible for delivering a commercial construction project based in the Northland region, you’ll be engaged from the early design stage of the project through to project handover and completion.
This company sees plenty of potential within the Northland region which could result in this Project Management position progressing towards a Regional Manager operating throughout the region.
The ideal skills and attributes we’re seeking:

• A minimum of 8 years New Zealand based experience within the construction industry and proven experience operating as a Project Manager
• Either a construction specific degree, diploma or trade qualification
• Outgoing and confident communication skills with internal and external stakeholders whether written or verbal
• Experience within pre-construction phases and tender management would be highly advantageous
