Urgent vacancy available for a Senior Ventilation Engineer working in West Africa


Overview

FIFO opportunity for a Senior Ventilation Engineer to work in West Africa for a reputable large Gold operator whose assets are spread across the globe.


Key duties

• Responsible for the design, evaluation, monitoring and implementation of the ventilation strategy
• Managing and controlling the UG Ventilation systems
• Carrying out ventilation surveys, assist with ventilation reports
• Assist with the assessment and monitoring of the fans, fire doors, ventilation doors etc. and ensure proper auxiliary ventilation is maintained.
• Train and develop a pool of certified ventilation engineers for the Africa Region


Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in Ventilation Engineering background
• Strong knowledge in Underground Mine Ventilation.
• Strong understanding of Underground Mining Systems and Operations.
