Our client is a leading global OEM looking for a Thermal Barrier Coating Specialist who will be responsible for defining the coating strategy for the product range. They are looking for someone with a good balance between hands on practical experience but also a strong academic background.

Experience/ knowledge required:

• Fluent in English - Both written and verbal
• Solid understanding of material requirements and properties
• Experience with rotating equipment - turbomachinery, engines etc.
• Experience of developing coatings
• Qualified to Masters, ideally PHD level - Mechanical Engineering, materials etc.
