Our CNRI E&C contract team based in CNRI's Saint Magnus House, Aberdeen is responsible for the engineering and construction delivery for CNRI's North Sea Assets.  We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team, who shall be responsible and accountable for Project Engineering Execution and Co-ordination of assigned brownfield projects from initiation through execution and close-out within schedule and budget. 

Experience Required: 5 - 7 Years  
       
Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • To understand strategic aspects of the project in order to implement optimum approach
  • Responsible for the delivery of cost estimates and schedule to client as part of the work approval process
  • To manage project costs to ensure that delivery is within the approved budget
  • To liaise with the Client Representative
  • Identification of Risks and propose mitigating solutions and key driver for implementation
  • Facilitate Project Kick-off meetings, record and distribute minutes
  • Facilitate project progress reviews as required, record and distribute minutes
  • Identification of project cost savings to the contract management team
  • Ensure that the work entry and change process are implemented
  • Carry out offshore visits as required
Qualifications / Personal Attributes:
  • Demonstrable Project Engineering experience within a similar environment / industry
  • Upstream knowledge of Brownfield Oil & Gas Projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of execution of brownfield modification projects through all phases to final completion 
  • In depth understanding of the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry
  • Previous Project Engineering experience working with multi-discipline teams
  • A broad understanding of the key engineering disciplines
  • A strong understanding of the capabilities of the key engineering systems and tools in operation within the upstream Oil & Gas Industry
  • Ability to manage project plans from initiation through to completion
  • Ability to manage project costs
