Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct morning Safety meetings with Instrumentation Personnel to emphasize the importance of maintaining safe work habits  
  • Ensure all safety equipment is available and being used correctly on ongoing work
  • Assign work tasks to Instrumentation personnel for daily execution of  Mechanical repairs and Preventive Maintenance
  •  Follow up on progress of work execution to ensure timely completion of ongoing work
  •  Ensure needed resources are available by working with the Instrumentation Planning group   
  •  Quality  checks on completed work to ensure work was completed and left in an acceptable condition
  •  Adhere to Established Safety Policies and Procedures to ensure work is executed in the safest manner possible
  • Provide daily updates on status of work in progress
  • Work with Refinery Unit Process Mechanical Coordinators to ensure equipment availability prior to directing resources to unavailable equipment
  • Ensure accurate time keeping and validation of hours worked for Instrumentation personnel
  • Attend daily meeting for scheduling and other priorities as needed
  • Generate daily reports on status of work
  • Ability to work with a Union workforce
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working with Refinery instrumentation equipment
  • Refinery or other Industrial facility experience within the Instrumentation Organization
  • Supervisor Experience within Refinery or Industrial Facility
  • Knowledge and use of Refinery safe operation procedures.
  • Proficient in executing work practices
  • Must be able to work within a team environment 
  • Proficient computer skills, including  SAP, Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word  
  • Meeting facilitation abilities
  • Ability to mentor and train others  in order provide extended knowledge to the work force
  • Demonstrates strength in communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability in a changing work environment
  •  Complete work and projects in self-directed work environment with minimal supervision
