Description

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the FPSO project in accordance with agreed commitments, goals and KPIs.

• Establish the Ghana Operation Organization to ensure a safe and reliable operation of the FPSO.

• Establish the Operations BU including strategies, personnel and management System.

• To ensure that all development and execution work is performed to the highest HESQ standards.

• To manage, direct and supervise development activities providing leadership to motivate the team and maintain focus throughout the development lifecycle.

• To engage the FPSO, Subsea, Supply Chain, Drilling and Subsurface teams in the development to ensure that an integrated approach is maintained.

• To support training, education and development of engaged personnel.

Main tasks

• Manage, direct and supervise the agreed deliveries to the highest possible HESQ standards, ensure that HESQ remains the top priority for every individual in the development team, and ensure that this priority are communicated to all participants, such as contractors and subcontractors.

• Delivery of agreed deliveries in an efficient manner, and in compliance with cpmpany’s Management system and regulatory requirements, and in harmony with ongoing operations.

• Delivery of development to agreed company and license goals, performance standards and KPI’s.

• Coordination of multidiscipline activities to ensure timely inputs towards reaching milestones, such as stage gates, and preparation of associated decision support packages.

• Timely reporting of progress against agreed company and license goals, performance standards and KPI’s to meet company’s and partner requirements.

• Communication of progress to stakeholders on an agreed basis.

• Involvement of stakeholders in decision making process where necessary and appropriate.

• Support the training, education and development of engaged personnel.

Requirements

Education

• Degree qualified. Minimum BSc in Engineering. Commercial formal background an advantage.

Experience

• More than 15 years’ experience in managing large EPCI projects

• Strong knowledge of the detail engineering, construction, installation and commissioning and Operation processes

• Understanding of the project life cycle / stage gate process – has worked in several project teams in one or more stages

• Understanding of offshore field operation including

• International experience – preferably from West Africa

• Experience in technical integrity and compliance methodology and activities

• Experience in Lean organizations

• Experience from operator company

• Fluent in English, verbal and written
