Powerco have engaged with our company to recruit a Defects & Minor Works Coordinator (Field Services Coordinator) for their Gas Business based in Wellington.
The position exists to ensure day to day maintenance and minor project services are delivered in the field in accordance with the network standards and asset strategies.
This role is also responsible for aligning Operations & Maintenance services to the system and process requirements in order to support the completion of the gas maintenance programme, direct resolution of defects and to facilitate the delivery of routine and minor projects.
Summarized in one sentence, you will be the expert that helps the Project Engineers/Project Managers and the contractors understand what needs to be done on the field.

We are seeking someone who has the following:
- Experience or ability to lead teams
- Experience or ability to coach and mentor on the field
- Ability to deal with issues regarding maintenance and repair
- Preferably National Certificate Level 3 (or working towards Level 3)
- A minimum of 5 years field experience in gas network operations and maintenance
