Description
- To participate in Project organisation and actively contribute to an efficient project execution, and be familiar with project documentation and project specific goals.
- To follow up the electrical & Instrumentation engineering work performed by EPCIC Contractor
- To be participate and contribute to Risk evaluations, HAZID and HAZOP
- To act as the link between “Operation” and the Project for relevant disciplines
- To support and advice EPCIC Contractor with regard to operational issues
- To participate in spare part evaluations
- To participate and give input to Commission Procedures (PIMS)
- Actively contribute to an efficient MC & Commissioning execution
- Participate and check technical requisitions for E&I
- To be responsible for handling technical queries/non-conformance for E&I systems
- Proactively work with other disciplines with regard to interfaces
- The position holder is expected to apply professional and with technical knowledge and expertise using standard techniques to provide specialist support.
- The position holder is expected to analyse and interpret information and data based on own technical knowledge and expertise.
- Together with EPCIC Contractor in execution of onshore/offshore punch and preparation for handover to operation
- Participate in QA activities, such as FATs’
- Proactively seek solutions and advice, and share experience with both “Operation” and EPCIC Contractor
- Expected to contribute to the development of wider solutions to business/technical issues.
- Be familiar with the Project EIT design, P&ID/SLD/Block Diagrams/Loops/IO etc.
- There is a requirement to work cross functionally and interface with other ongoing Projects within the Asset
Requirements
- Higher relevant university degree. In special cases relevant work experience may compensate for limited formal education.
- Ability to address complex issues and to provide guidance to others on how work should be conducted.
- Sound understanding of relevant technologies
- Requires awareness and understanding of contributions by other disciplines, and ability to see own work within a multidisciplinary cooperation.
- Ability to communicate highly specialist technical guidance/advice to others in an understandable way
- Requires typically a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience from the Oil & Gas industry.
- Requires experience from “Brownfield” Projects
- Ability to work in a multidiscipline “Project”, and relevant Project experience.
- Requires highly developed communication skills to present complicated issues in an understandable way, and to influence others to ensure compliance.
- The job demands advanced knowledge in a professional field with specialized knowledge within the different disciplines.
- Knowledge of installations in Hazardous Areas, IECEx, ATEX
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and design codes like; API, ISO, IEC, ATEX, NORSOK, etc.
- Knowledge in design of electrical small power distribution, lighting, heat tracing,
- Knowledge in design of field instrumentation, F&G, Telecom
