Substation Electrical Engineer - T&D / USA

My client are a leading Engineering firm with a strong foothold in the Texas market providing Technical Services and Turnkey solutions to a number of Utilities in Texas.

They are looking for an experienced Substation Electrical Engineer to be based at their offices in San Antonio, Texas to oversee a number High Voltage Transmission projects within their T&D portfolio. As the ideal candidate, you will have a Professional Engineering Accreditation (P.E) and possess a minimum of 5 Years experience within the Design and Engineering of Substations from 345kv and upwards. You will have engineering experience within Protection & Control and/or Physical Substation Design.

Salary: $90,000USD - $110,000USD Gross per Annum + Benefits (Bonus, Medical, 401k etc.)

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Days per week: 5

Work Permit/Visa Required: Yes, Must be eligible to work within the United States WITHOUT Sponsorship. (US Passport/Green Card holder or Indefinite Leave to Remain within the US).

Profile:

• Must have Electrical Engineering Degree (Minimum BSc)
• Professional Engineering Accreditation (P.E)
• Minimum 5 Years experience within the Design and Engineering of Substations from 138kv and upwards
• Experience within Substation Protection and Control and/or Physical Substation design.
• Must be from a Consultancy/Engineering background
• Excellent communication and management skills
