OpenText Project Manager / Germany

Seeking a 6-month OpenText Technical Project Manager to implement OpenText in a manufacturing / engineering environment, based North West UK, target rate £400/day LTD.

The project is to complete the migration from a legacy Asset Information Management system to OpenText Content Server, including driving the project, technical deliverables, testing and hand-holding with the business, and business process mapping to define how projects are handled by OpenText

Enterprise Information Management (EIM) supersedes traditional Document Management to make best use of company data, encompassing Enterprise Content Management (ECM) tools such as OnBase, Laserfiche, Alfresco, DocuShare, OpenText, Ascend, OmniDocs, docStart, nuxeo, SAP ECM, M-Files, Huddle, Sharepoint etc. For this contract we are seeking a PM with extensive experience on Engineering Content Management systems, such as for oil rigs, refineries, power plants, chemical plants, where technical documentation is more complex, often very large files with many relations, with long dynamic and short static phases, updated very frequently due to maintenance activities, optimization projects, plant changes, revamps, such that the Asset Information Management system must integrate Document Lifecycle, Asset Lifecycle and Project Lifecycle. The ECM in this case is OpenText xECM - Extended ECM for Engineering (formerly Engineering Document Mgmt.) with connectivity via xECM Extended ECM Enabler to SAP – Asset Management, Content Server, the Brava! Viewer add-on for web-based viewing, and Opentext XCCM Extended Customer Communication Management to interface with external Engineering and Project companies such as Babcock, Costain etc.
