Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity available for a HR Generalist to join our Oil and Gas client in Perth. As HR Generalist you will be responsible for ensuring that the human resources function brings significant value to the Business Line through the provision of advice, information and services. This will be a contract position until the end of the year, however there will be a very strong chance of the role leading to a permanent job opportunity.

Experience and Skills Required:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a HR Generalist to join our Oil and Gas client in Perth. As HR Generalist you will be responsible for ensuring that the human resources function brings significant value to the Business Line through the provision of advice, information and services. This will be a contract position until the end of the year, however there will be a very strong chance of the role leading to a permanent job opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Apply and deploy HR Group policies and processes (salary review, performance review, annual objectives, talent management etc) and ensure they are relevant with legal local requirements
- Support and manage the visa process’s , especially short term 400 visas
- Monitor employee concerns and emerging people issues through Line Managers/Supervisors and directly through employees when required
- Provide confidential guidance and coaching to Managers and employees concerning policies, practices, employee issues, performance excellence and conflict resolution
- Actively contribute in creating favourable working conditions and foster employee commitment
- Actively contribute, provide input to the HR team and foster a team approach
Experience and Skills Required:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
- At least 3+ Years Human Resources experience
- Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
- Pro-active individual with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Effective prioritization, organisation and multi-tasking skills
- Ability and desire to embrace and manage change
- Experience in the following: Employee Relations, HR Policies & Programs, and Employee Development
- Ability to influence across all levels of the Business Line and catalyse others to take action
- Working experience in a matrix organisation and post-acquisition environment
