Supply Chain Analyst
Responsible for processing all material and service requests from production business into SAP Requisitions and making sure all orders are received by the vendor.
Able to record and organize electronic files and follow predetermined procedures for same.
Ensures technical requirements are met and constraints are appreciated as well as serving 'gate keeping' function for value centric operational efficiency/effectiveness focus areas such as inventory utilization and SAP Master Data quality.
Role is key link between supply chain and operations with many continuous improvement opportunities for the right individual to make a significant difference to progress end to end delivery.
Must have the ability to work independently while identifying potential process improvements.
Various other task assignments may include collection, compilation, analysis, and maintenance of material master data.
Experience
- Minimum five years' experience in supply chain, materials management, procurement, inventory control or related field
- Proven organization skills, including the ability to gather clear business requirements.
- Proven ability to follow business process
- Proven experience working with Excel and developing and maintaining various analyses and reporting tools.
- Knowledge working with vendors related to purchase orders
- Business analysis experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry a plus
- Understanding of transactional procurement processes
Education
- College degree in business or related field preferred
