Introduction

We are pleased to offer the following key contract positions: Field Engineer Electrical Power

Work Location: Singapore until ca 01.08.2020 - From 01.08.2020 until 31.12.2021 the field engineer electrical power is supposed to follow the project to the site at Stord, Norway, for integration of topside modules. (Must be willing to follow the project to Stord)

Startup: 01.07.2019 - 31.12.2021

Option period 1 x 6 months

Description

• Monitor all Electrical construction activities with emphasize on quality, schedule and HSE

• Monitor work progress against plans and highlight areas of concern and possible corrective actions

• Supervise and manage Electrical Local inspectors in Yard site team

• Support and follow up Contractor with respect to construction issues and shop engineering

• Work closely with company`s EPma team

• Follow up construction related issues engineering and towards IFC deliveries

• Ensure that systems and equipment are protected and preserved.

• Ensure that fabrication documentation is issued by Contractor in accordance with requirements

• Actively work with Contractor to ensure that mechanical completion is achieved with a minimum of punch listed items and ready for handover to Commissioning

• Participate in area/system punch out as required and ensure Contractors correct input to ProCoSys

• Contribute actively towards Contractors timely achievement of system handover

• Follow up and verify Contractors closing of punch items as required

Requirements

• Relevant theoretical background on HNC/HND level or higher

• Minimum 10 years of site experience from shipbuilding and/or oil & gas floater projects

• Extensive knowledge of Class, NORSOK and NCS regulations HSE training in accordance with company`s expectations

• Multi-discipline understanding

• Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably company’s technical requirements

• Ability to work in a team High ethical standards and adherence to compnay's ethical requirements

• Ability to handle high work loads

• Language requirements English
