Planning Engineer / Oman

The client is setting up a new oil refinery at Duqm, approximately 600 kilometres South of Muscat. The project will have a nameplate capacity of about 230,000 barrels per day. Crude oil and liquid products like - Naptha, Jet A-1, Diesel, Refrigerated LPG, Sulphur Pellets and Coke are to be imported/exported at the adjacent Port of Duqm. 

There are about 49 hydrocarbon tanks. The largest tanks is expected to have crude storage and will be in the range of 100,000 cubic meter volume. There will be 10 crude oil storage tanks and the remaining 39 tanks will be for intermediate or product storage and will range from 15000-50000 cubic meters. The crude tanks will be floating roof and the majority of the remaining tanks will be cone roofed with nitrogen blanketing. There will also be 2 LPG tanks requiring full containment refrigerated construction. 

The project will be executed in two phases - EPC1 & EPC2. 

A Planning Engineer with extensive experience in Pipelines is desired.
