Contract Specialist

Manages service delivery contractors, and advises on improvements to contract management processes. Provides management information (performance data, etc) to category managers. Manages regular reviews of service delivery, and in collaboration with stakeholders identifies opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement. Identifies service delivery issues and resolves or escalates them with suppliers. Ensures suppliers understand their obligations relating to policy, HSSE and code of conduct.

Deliverables

• Ensures service delivery levels and requirements are understood by stakeholders and suppliers.
• Manages processes for day-to-day contract management, applying industry best practice and continually seeking performance improvement.
• Participates in regular service delivery reviews with stakeholders and suppliers, carrying out data analysis to measure the performance of suppliers and comparing with contractual commitments and service level agreements for key measures (eg deliverables, timescales/milestones, team performance, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction), and agreeing performance improvement plans.
• Identifies issues with service delivery, resolving or escalating disputes between stakeholders and suppliers.

Experience & Knowledge

• Speaks high level of French and English
• Legal background
• Experience with Legal France
• Advises category managers on the selection of suppliers, analysing performance data, providing management information and participating in supplier negotiation and selection.
• Ensures local contracts comply with master/global agreements with supplier.
• Facilities smooth transition when suppliers and/or service delivery levels are changed.
• Ensures effective billing management.

Exposure to the oil and gas or related industry beneficial, not required. Duration of this job is till January 2020. Contracters can apply as well.
