Senior O&G Architect / England

The Role: Senior O&G Architect 

Type: Contract 

Length: 4 Months (Chance of extension) 

Location: North West London 

Job Description: 
Will work under direction of Lead Architect to carry out design, drafting activities and co-ordination with designers overseas.

Design and drafting will primarily be for the following types of buildings in either concrete or modular steel: -

Industrial buildings including substations, instrument shelters, operator shelters, etc.
Oil and Gas specific process buildings
The buildings will be located onshore or on Islands. The onshore concrete buildings will typically be cast in situ concrete or structural steel. The buildings on Islands will be precast or modularized.

Experience with industrial building type as listed is essential and offshore building type is beneficial. 

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and preferably experience of middle east projects.

Will be able to work independently and as part of a team under direction from Lead Architect and Engineering Group supervisor.

Proficient in Uses drafting software (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation required, MicroStation is standard software but can use Autocad as option). Proficiency with SketchUp preferred.
