Overhead Line Engineer: Frankfurt

My client is an established railway engineering consultancy looking to recruit an Electrical/ Mechanical Engineer who specialises in Overhead Line and OCS Design, for Railway projects based in Germany. They are advising their client on the correct design and project engineering process and monitoring the work of the main electrification contractor.

Tasks of position:

a. The Design and construction of high voltage Overhead Catenary System throughout project lifecycle.
b. Additional interface management with power supply substation, electrical distribution systems and track side electrical assets.
c. Understanding and appreciation of SCADA control systems for power supply monitoring.
d. Reporting to the client on project progress.

Experience level

Degree qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
8+ years in railway electrical systems
5+ years in Overhead Line / Catenary Systems
Fluent in English language
Some international project experience in advantage, not essential
