Senior Tender Planner / England

This well known contractor operating not only throughout the Northern Home Counties and inside the M25.
 
The requirement is for an experienced Tender Planner with demonstrable site experience ideally gained working on new build commercial, industrial and new build projects.  You will have been a Site Engineer, Site Manager or Project Manager, who spent their early career on site and then moved into a pre-contract planning role. 
 
You must also demonstrate the ability to produce programmes and preliminaries for design, procurement, lead-ins including specialist works and construction procedures. 
 
You will also be responsible for scheduling, craneage / materials movement, assessment and budgeting, temporary utilities scheduling and costing, site logistics and the production of site layouts/ restrictions/ phasing diagrams.
 
Your duties will also cover liaising with in house departments to source programme information, as well as visiting sites and carrying out site inspections to ascertain any potential problems.  
 
Asta Power Project computer literacy is preferable as is the ability to research modern/contemporary construction methods in order to be able to present the most up to date cost/time effective construction procedures.
 
The position offers an excellent basic salary with car allowance as well as pension and healthcare.
