Job Description
My Client is currently looking for an Operations Manager responsible for leading, developing and managing a defined value stream.
Key responsibilities:
•Achieve set production KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for own defined value stream whilst supporting other value streams when needed.
•Through implementation of continuous improvement philosophy, manage and improve pharmaceutical standards, awareness & compliance within the technical team (measures: close out, clean room standards, engineering standards)
•Recruit, train, develop and coach technical team members such that increased focus is put on pharmaceutical awareness and operating standards as well as job skills and knowledge
•Provide leadership for on shift problem solving and fault diagnosis
•Analyse shift performance and implement appropriate actions to utilise capacity and enhance standards
•To act as site responsible person outside of normal business hours
•Responsible for reviewing, agreeing and implementing current and future commercial Operational plans on a Monthly basis, as part of the business planning meeting.
•Responsible for ensuring Operational output and service requirements are met.
•Responsible for effective communication between Operational shift patterns and Day operations.
•Planning is localised and deals with short to medium term in achieving operational production targets (filling and packing), pharmaceutical compliance, people of development and supply chain targets
•Formal review of Key Performance indicators including EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety), AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and quality metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis with both shift managers and supply chain/engineering/service functions
•Support execution of allocated projects ensuring production requirements and standards are defined and implemented with regular reviews of performance/ schedule adherence.
