Polish electricity trader

Key responsibilities of the role:

Develop, implement and execute successful trading strategies with focus on Polish forward electricity market
Generate positive PnL from building and managing a portfolio of directional and spread positions as well as contribute to the overall desk performance
Keep on top of regional and global developments in power and commodity space and gather local market intelligence
Cooperate and communicate closely with other members of Trading, Origination and Analytical teams
Ensure compliance with risk limits and internal processes

Required education and experience:

At least three year experience in Polish proprietary power trading with own PnL responsibility and excellent track record
University degree, ideally in the area of finance, economics or numerate technical discipline

Required skills and knowledge:

Deep knowledge of Polish power market, knowledge of Central and Eastern European and Baltics power markets is an advantage
Outstanding analytical skills, with emphasis on fundamental analysis
Team player
Strong trading discipline
Entrepreneurial mindset
Fluency in English
