THE ROLE

I am now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor who speaks good English to join a firm of construction consultants in Oslo, Norway.

As their client is an international company, contracts are in English.

This is a great opportunity to join a go ahead firm of private practice quantity surveyors in the Nordics offering a good range of projects to become involved with.

The initial projects are retail.

THE CLIENT

Our client is a go ahead firm of private practice quantity surveyors with offices in the UK and in Europe.

They are working on a good range of generally high value building projects construction projects for new build, refurbishment and fit out.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be from recently chartered as a Quantity Surveyor to more senior level.

You should have gained your experience working for a firm of private practice quantity surveyors ideally having worked in the U.K.

You will need to be able to run your own projects and deal directly with clients.

You will be involved in both Pre and Post Contract duties on a number of projects including cost planning, tendering, site valuations, cost reporting, cost management and agreement of final accounts.

You will be involved in the full project process from initial client engagement through to project delivery.

You should be able to run a number of projects concurrently.

It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with clients.

Excellent written and spoken English is essential as the client is international. Norwegian language skills would be useful but are not essential, although a willingness to learn would be good.

Salary will be very negotiable. Great prospects for an ambitious candidate.
