Subsea Specialist (Landing String) / Australia

We are looking for a Subsea (Landing String) Specialists for long term contract roles across Australia and South East Asia.

Job Summary: The Subsea Field Specialist performs as Crew Leader or Crew member and is an expert is field operations. (Landing String Operation). Reports to the Subsea Field Service Manager or to the more senior Field Engineer or Field Specialist.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Participates/Leads on landing string operations and ensures procedures are followed without compromising safety. Participates/Leads in the job preparation process in accordance to client specific Quality Plans. Submits accurate and timely paperwork and job reports and captures and lessons learned. Communicates on a daily basis with Supervisor & Field Service Manager. Mentor to Junior Field Specialists or Junior Field Engineers. Liaises with the client on location and assists in trouble shooting. Organizes equipment logistics from and to rig.

Experience: Ability to perform under pressure. Adaptable to field conditions (rig environment, offshore). Ability to work effectively in teams. Good Communication. Strong commitment to Safety, quality and efficiency. Performance focused.


Location: Perth based with assignments across South East Asia.
