Description

1) Follow-up the telecom discipline scope for the following concept studies: 3 topside studies, 2 turret studies and 1 hull study)

2) Establish an overall BdN Telecom philosophy document (requirements according to TR1244 for DG2)

3) Fiber cable to shore: Long distance fiber cable, and stretch at this length / type has not been done before 

4) Support Operations with establishment of their operating model: Refinement of the operating model, infrastructure and architecture philosophies, and alignment with the Business Area "Development and Production International", DPI's IT strategies.

•Handle all relevant engineering matters related to the telecom discipline

•Ensure alignment within the telecom discipline

•Ensure experience transfer to and from the project

•Ensure alignment with client’s discipline line organisation

•Ensure integration and coordination with other project disciplines

•Co-ordinate discipline tasks across contract boarders

•Participate in discipline and multidiscipline reviews

•Identify and contribute to closing of technical uncertainties Fibre strategy for Brasil projects: Contribute with clarifications related to telecom discipline

Requirements

•Master of Science or Bachelor of Science within telecom •Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience from offshore oil&gas project execution, preferably including early phase and concept development

•Good competence and experience with telecom systems development in projects

•HSE training in accordance with client`s recommendations •Multi-discipline understanding

•Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably client’s technical requirements within telecom discipline

•Ability to work in a team

•High ethical standards and adherence to client's ethical requirements - Ability to handle high work loads

•Language requirements English and Norwegian
