THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor to work on an iconic large programme of work on listed buildings of very high value.

I am now seeking a chartered quantity surveyor for a role of SENIOR CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join an “end user” client in central London on a CONTRACT or SALARIED basis.

You will need to be MRICS qualified and have proven experience of working on high value listed buildings.

You will be responsible for managing large capital budgets and managing both internal and external stakeholder engagement.

You will be involved in pre and post contract work, project risks, KPIs, development of procedures and more.

THE CLIENT

My client is an End User client with a number of listed / heritage buildings including some of the most iconic in the U.K.

THE CANDIDATE

You are likely to be a Associate level Chartered Quantity Surveyor who is MRICS qualified.

You will have been working either for firms of PQS or another end user client.

It is essential that you have worked on projects of very high value and that you have significant experience of listed buildings.

You will need to have around eight years or more post graduation experience.

You must have experience of all QS duties both pre and post contract along with good all round commercial management skills.

You will be able to build relationships with the Commercial Director, Programme Director and stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills are essential.

Contract rate in the region of £400 to £500 per day (maximum) or very negotiable salary for the right candidate.
