THE ROLE
My client seeks construction Senior Project Managers who must be Security Cleared to work on MOD / Nuclear / Energy projects initially across the South East.
These roles are to be undertaken on a contract basis.
Our client seeks senior level project managers who can do strategic management and deal with projects that are failing.
The role will entail thinking of, organising and implementing solutions for project turnaround etc.
You will deal directly with clients.
THE CLIENT
My client is a successful firm of construction consultants mainly focusing on project turnaround and trouble shooting projects in the nuclear, MOD and energy sectors.
They work on projects across the U.K.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Management or another construction / built environment / engineering subject.
Ideally you will be MRICS / MAPM / MCIOB or similarly qualified.
You also need to have at least fifteen years’ minimum experience working as a Project Manager post graduation in the construction industry.
You should have worked for any of the following:- Construction Consultants, End user client, Multi disciplinary consultants or a main contractor.
You will have a good understanding of projects from inception through to delivery, including project set up.
Previous experience of nuclear, MOD and similar projects is a must.
You must be fully security cleared i.e. DV, SC, BPSS, CTC.
My client seeks candidates who have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken), who are enthusiastic and dynamic to deal with challenging projects and demanding clients and able to work without supervision as part of a small team.
This client likes candidates who can “think outside the box” to be able to see solutions for projects in distress.
These are contract roles and rates will be negotiable.
