Senior Applications Systems Analysts / Qatar

The Senior Applications Systems Analyst  supports major business functions and provides detailed and in depth specialized IT technical expertise to maintain Subsurface applications support environment and ensures that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures.

TO QUALIFY, candidate must possess the following Qualification and Experience: 

Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other relevant discipline.

 
Knowledge and/or Experience  

• Experience in providing expert support for applications like Wellview, Compass, WellCat, WellPlan, Petrotrek, etc. including software application, database management, license and data validation, customizing reports to end-user requirements, MDDB  interfaces/transcriptions, etc.
• 8 years of IT experience (ideally within Oil & Gas industry)
• Competent knowledge in core skill applications, tools, and techniques
• Conversant with relevant IT national and international standards
• Demonstrated experience in project management
• Demonstrated experience in IT support environment.
