Bridge Resident Engineer (Construction Supervision) - Sierra Leone

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to supervise the construction of a Road & Bridge project in Sierra Leone.

Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an EU funded project, based in the Capital, Freetown. The project consists of both Bridge & Asphalt Road elements. Bridges on the project include a 160m span with additional 4 minor bridges. Additionally there are further structures planned.

Responsibilities:

The Resident Engineer shall be site based and shall be responsible for supervising the contractors during the construction phase. They shall working with both internationally and local based experts and be supported by commercial staff. A key element shall be the protecting of the clients interest and assist in the progress reporting to stakeholders.

Key requirements for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Bridge construction projects
• 3+ projects as Resident Engineer or higher.
• Previous Africa experience

Salary Package:

The salary package on offer is flexible depending on experience but shall be around €8,000 plus expatriate package.
