Description

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Raise Non-conformance Reports against non-conforming equipment / components and manufacturing, repair, modification quality records

2. Ensure minimum compliance of all equipment operated by company in Scandinavia.

3. Responsible for executions of final inspections to verify the product quality.

4. Follow up re-certification of equipment in conjunction with industry standards and company`s maintenance procedures. Cooperate with Notified Bodies and ensure projects are correctly and efficiently documented.

5. Witness pressure testing of equipment for certification to ensure that the tests are conducted to the required standards.

6. Perform Quality Control checks to Operations Support processes at key stages

7. Ensure inspection measuring equipment is kept safe, clean, fit for purpose and in current calibration.

8. Correct inspection of the different types of equipment for the different maintenance streams such as well test, wire line and Electronic data and correct interpretation of the results of wall thickness, hardness and other NDT such as MPI, Dye pen and etc.

9. Perform visual inspection and measurements using FARO arm and micrometres. Responsible for the calibration of measurement equipment.

10. Inspection of containers, baskets and skids with attached lifting appliances according to DNV 2-7.1 and Pre-shipment check and tagging of all units going on any specific job, according to NOG 116.

11. Approve and upload documentation packages to company`s database

12. Perform inspection (visual, dimensional, gauging and comparison as appropriate) on new manufactured, repaired and modified equipment and components pre, during and post qualification testing.

13. Responsible for lifting and electrical certification of equipment which is mobilised by company in Scandinavia

14. Support the organisation in general and the QC department specifically through the established procedures.

15. Lead by example with respect to the achieving of the Quality Health, Safety and Environmental KPI’s as set for your specific department through the Excellence in Operations Plan.

16 Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules.

17. Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorisation for any deviations from standard procedures.

18. Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met.

19. Understanding of the company`s Quality system and the Scandinavia Subsea quality requirements. Experienced in delivering a first class quality service to Scandinavia customers

20. Support the efforts to continuously improve the service quality level through rigorous inspections and a tight control on the calibration equipment as stated in the established quality procedures

21. Ensure Quality Control in all aspects of work carried out by company in Scandinavia, in compliance with relevant company requirements and systems and demonstrate high levels of Service Quality, resulting in maintaining revenue and continually improving efficiency and Excellence in Operations Plan.

22. Any other task which is commensurate with the role

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience within QC activities, QC role or similar.
  • Preferable but not limited to education as mechanical engineer, industrial mechanic, or other type of technical education, although proven experience in similar roles from the oil and gas industry can compensate for lack of education.
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of mechanics, hydraulics and pressure testing.
  • Knowledge of different inspection methods such as dimensional inspection, NDT and DT.
  • Familiar with measuring tools and document control activities.
  • Knowledge of local certification and documentation requirements.
  • Meticulous in the execution of QC activities.
  • Trained and Experienced Internal Quality Auditor.
  • Good knowledge of workshop procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of Risk Assessment / Job Card / Engineering Test Procedure compliance
  • Excellent display of quality control / certification techniques.
  • Level of supervision required for the role : Safety level 1; QC level 3

Preferred:

  • Experience in use of FARO system measurement
  • NOG 116 course
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
