ROLE: SHE Advisor / Health and Safety

SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 Plus can and Package

LOCATION: London and Surrounding

Our client is one of the UK's leading Structural Steel Fabrication and Construction companies supplying and erecting fabricated steel nationwide within the UK . Due to continued expansion and large volume of new, they are seeking a SHE Advisor to join their team.

The company is a highly regarded organisation that has a rich history in providing engineering solutions to their clients in the UK, they have a strong order book and as a result they need to reinforce the capabilities within the planning team on a multi million pound project.

It is a mobile role covering sites where we operate as either Principal Contractor or (more usually) subcontractor, ranging in size from £0.5mil to £20mil. The majority of these sites will be in London, so you will need to be able to get into Central London easily.

All projects will be primarily steel frame erection. The role will involve attending sites on a planned regular basis, undertaking site inspections, completing reports, undertaking training and providing advice & guidance. Importantly you also need to be able to develop a good working relationship with site managers & teams.

Essential:

• Nebosh General or Construction Certificate
• CSCS Construction H&S Officer card or similar
• Experience of SHE role in construction
• Computer literate
• Driving licence

Desirable:

• Environmental training
• Temporary Works Co-ordinator training & experience
• Crane appointed person
• Experience in erecting steelwork
• IPAF MEWPs for Managers training
• Rail experience / PTS
