Project Manager / England

Salary / Rate: £60000 to £75000 per annum or more + generous pension, professional fees

THE ROLE

My client, an established firm of construction consultants, now seeks an ambitious PROJECT MANAGER to join them in central London.

You will assist in carrying out the full range of pre contract and post contract services from feasibility through project delivery.

They are working on new build, refurbishment and fit out for hotels, offices and residential projects valued to around £30m.

You will need to be working as a project manager / employers agent with a similar firm of construction consultants currently.

There will be great prospects for the right candidate to move up quickly to Associate level and beyond as my client is growing their project management service in London.

THE CLIENT

My client is a firm of construction consultants mainly focusing on project management and cost management.

They have offices in the U.K. and overseas and are now growing their project management team.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management or other construction subject.

Ideally you will be MRICS, MAPM, RIBA or similarly qualified.

You also need to have at least five years’ minimum experience working in another firm of construction consultants in the construction industry as a project manager.

Good computer and organisation skills required.

You will need first class communication skills to deal directly with clients and possibly be keen to also have some involvement in business development and networking for this growing division.

Current projects include two new build hotels (value c. £25m each), Cat B office fit out, New build office, various large residential, restaurant fit out (value £10m) etc.

Salary will be very negotiable according to experience plus there is a generous pension contribution and professional fees.
