Structural Mechanical Piping Designer - Mining / Australia

We are looking to identify a Structural Mechanical Piping Designer with mining design experience in Australia. 

Initially a 6 month contract with potential for an extension, the successful candidate will be based in Perth and be involved in the design of a number of brownfield mining projects in WA.

Your responsibilities in the role

• Detail design 2D/3D modelling and drawings
• Strong knowledge of SMP design standards
• Delivery of practical and innovative design solutions for clients
• Collaborating across disciplines and with clients
• A proactive approach to meet project milestones
• Maintaining the highest levels of Health and Safety
• Promoting the Company’s Values

 What you need to be successful in the role

• Mechanical/Structural Tertiary qualification
• 5+ years’ design experience within a design consultancy environment in WA
• Experience with Inventor and MicroStation design tools/software essential
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Strong work ethic and drive to deliver projects
