TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Develops cost estimates for plant facilities during various stages of capital projects using company’s estimating methods and tools
- Assist with updates of weekly Status Report and project status summary reports
- Interfaces with project team members to drive development and alignment on design and execution basis
- Works with all disciplines to support optimization studies
- Identifies and highlights key project risks, sensitivities, and mitigation
- Performs estimate validation, benchmarking, and reconciliation analysis to present to project team and management
- Applies learnings and critical thinking to implement fit-for-purpose use of estimate methodology
- Supports development and maintenance of project schedule
- Provides consultation on various aspects of the project process such as investment planning, project expenditure profiles, contracting and procurement, capital vs. expense evaluations, business controls, and compliance with ECMS guidelines
- Conceive, implement or participate in capital efficiency improvement initiatives
- Empowered to implement and identify tool and process improvements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in cost estimating with some field visit experience preferred
- Basic to advanced level proficiency in Cost Estimating & Scheduling
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Project
- Strong Influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities
- Ability to support multiple projects at the same time
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Nice to Haves: Experience with SAP, PowerBi, PowerQuery
