Project Claims Advisor / England

A leading oil and gas operator currently require a Project Claims Advisor for a major capital project to be based in Farnborough, UK on a contract basis.

The Project Claims Advisor will work with various teams to resolve commercial distractions, allowing Project Team Leaders and Contractors stay focused on safe, secure, Fabrication or Construction operations; Work across the various Project Delivery, and Functional Teams, to address potential commercial claims and counter-claim strategies from an early stage; Seek to maximize commercial leverage and commercial position of Company in the management of commercial disputes; Support in the resolution and closeout of disputed changes and claims

The Project Claims Advisor will oversee and coordinate the development of recommended commercial positions through the collection of records, reports, and other similar project documentation and data; Work with Legal to provide an assessment of entitlement on the respective Purchase or Services; and other ad hoc duties.

You will have a Bachelor’s degree within a related field with a minimum of 10 years in a similar role. It is essential that you have worked previously within the oil and gas industry working on claims for major capital projects.
