My client is a leading railway engineering consultancy looking to recruit a Requirements Manager to work on a major rail project in Perth, Australia. They require an experienced railways systems engineer with a good broad knowledge of railway systems domains and experience on major projects.

The candidate must have Requirements Management (using DOORS or Comply Pro software) experience in the rail industry.
This role will involve requirements management through full project life-cycle, through requirements capture and specifications for a number of systems through to implementation.
The candidate will be tasked with monitoring and developing the project requirements management database.
Therefore the candidate must have well developed interpersonal skills and feel comfortable speaking to a number of stakeholders, including the client and the main contractors.

Requirements to apply

Degree qualified in Engineering or Science based discipline.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Membership of an appropriate professional body preferred.
Minimum of 10 years systems engineering experience, 5 years rail systems requirements related experience.
Extensive requirements management experience on major rail projects
Experience utilising database solutions for requirements management (e.g. DOORS or Comply Pro)
Configuration Management knowledge
Practical experience of working on projects at various stages in a lifecycle
