Description
Technical:
• Responsible for aligning Project Managers and the rest of the project management team on project related matters.
• Contribute to the preparation of risk assessments, method statements and finalized project documentation.
• Responsible for handling and processing orders.
• Responsible for writing Scope of Work and other technical specifications to contractors.
• Ensure activities are executed in compliance with Company’s management system, the Project Execution Plan and as outlined in the Contracts for SPS, SURF, Drilling and Topside modification Contracts.
• Follow-up, assist and support with management of change, both commercially and technical.
• Assist in evaluation of cost and task estimates from Contractor.
• Pro-actively manage and follow interfaces between Company and Contractors and hereunder also internal Company interfaces between the Project and on/offshore operation.
• Monitor status of interface agreements across project and provide regular updates to Project Manager where appropriate.
• Ability to liaise with contractors as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Take lead in processes and deliverables as assigned by the Project Managers.
• Ability to read and understand engineering reports and drawings.
Non Technical:
• Self-driven with demonstrated high degree of autonomy and a pro-active mindset.
• Commercial mindset with experience on what makes sense from an economic point of view.
• Strong organizational, coordination and administration skills.
• Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines in a fast track project.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge with PIMS and WIR for interface management desired but not necessary.
Requirements
Formal qualifications, skills and experience requirements:
• MSc or BSc in Engineering.
• Experience from other Oil & Gas Industry and Development Project(s) will be preferred.
• Ability to apply helicopter view as well as the ability to deep dive.
• Excellent coordination skills.
