Commercial Director / England

We are currently recruiting for a leading international construction business who typically deliver hospital projects and a requirement for a Commercial Director has arisen. This role will be based in the UK head office but may require some international travel to locations such as The Caribbean, Middle East and Africa. This is a chance to get involved with a forward thinking business that have become a worldwide brand and the go to company for major hospital projects.
 
This is a senior role within the organisation and you will be reporting directly in to the Managing Director. You will control the business from a commercial aspect and be involved in many key, business critical decisions.
 
This senior management appointment demands a conscientious individual with a stable employment track record who is currently in a similar role and can demonstrate strong analytical skills and business acumen.
 
As you will be wholly responsible for the company’s commercial function you must have experience of managing a team of Surveyors reporting directly to you and monthly cost review meetings held with the Managing Director.
 
Communication, organisational skills and someone who can improve profitability are essential pre-requisites as is the ability to achieve results through teamwork.
