THE ROLE
I am now seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a large firm of PQS in central London.
You will need to have around two years or more post graduation experience and either be almost chartered or recently chartered with the RICS.
You will need to be able to look after your own projects.
Our client seeks someone to work on a range of projects including hotels, universities, care homes etc.
You must have been working for a firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants and have good pre and post contract experience.
THE CLIENT
Our client is a successful large firm of quantity surveyors and project managers with offices across the UK and in Europe.
THE CANDIDATE
I am now seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who has around two years or more experience post graduation or who worked throughout your degree and is almost chartered or someone who is recently chartered.
You should be able to run your own projects from inception to completion.
You will work as part of a their central London office on projects across the U.K.
You will need to have a good Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar and you must have worked for another firm of private practice quantity surveyors or multi disciplinary consultants.
You will be involved in both Pre and Post Contract duties on a number of projects including cost planning, tendering, site valuations, cost reporting, cost management and agreement of final accounts.
Ideally you will have worked on a range of commercial projects previously and be able to run your own projects with minimum supervision.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with clients.
Salary will be in the region of £45000 to £55000 plus pension contribution and RICS fees plus discretionary bonus and other benefits.
