Our client, a global organisation is currently in need of an experienced Reliability Superintendent due to internal restructure within the business.
  

Role

A residential role in Karratha, the Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible for ensuring the uptime and availability of the assets through the implementation of Systematic Maintenance and Reliability strategies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sound understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance
  • Experienced at using Computer Maintenance Management System (SAP)
  • Provide leadership and direction on multi-disciplined technical issues within the Maintenance Engineering team
  • Control the Management of Change (MOC) process from the Reliability Engineering Team
  • Manage spare part stock item request from the Engineering team
  • Provide updates and reports on plant condition to the Maintenance Manager
  • Actively utilize plant condition data to identify and take action on reliability projects
  • Ensure Yara Technical Operating Procedures (TOPs) compliance and Industry Best Practice in with regard to Plan Reliability
  • Lead Rood Cause Analysis (RCA) and publish reports relating to reliability concerns
  • Conduct training for Engineers and Technicians in the area of Reliability
  • Oversea the management of critical spares across the site in conjunction with discipline specialist Reliability Engineers
 

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with masters/honors 
  • Full Member of the Institute of Engineers, Australia (MIAust)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar industry (Petrochemical, Gas Processing or Oil Refining);
  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated supervisory experience;
  • SAP Power user and Intermediate/Advanced MS Office suite experience
  • Must be fluent in English, written and oral
