Role
A residential role in Karratha, the Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible for ensuring the uptime and availability of the assets through the implementation of Systematic Maintenance and Reliability strategies.

Role
A residential role in Karratha, the Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible for ensuring the uptime and availability of the assets through the implementation of Systematic Maintenance and Reliability strategies.
Responsibilities
- Sound understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance
- Experienced at using Computer Maintenance Management System (SAP)
- Provide leadership and direction on multi-disciplined technical issues within the Maintenance Engineering team
- Control the Management of Change (MOC) process from the Reliability Engineering Team
- Manage spare part stock item request from the Engineering team
- Provide updates and reports on plant condition to the Maintenance Manager
- Actively utilize plant condition data to identify and take action on reliability projects
- Ensure Yara Technical Operating Procedures (TOPs) compliance and Industry Best Practice in with regard to Plan Reliability
- Lead Rood Cause Analysis (RCA) and publish reports relating to reliability concerns
- Conduct training for Engineers and Technicians in the area of Reliability
- Oversea the management of critical spares across the site in conjunction with discipline specialist Reliability Engineers
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with masters/honors
- Full Member of the Institute of Engineers, Australia (MIAust)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar industry (Petrochemical, Gas Processing or Oil Refining);
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated supervisory experience;
- SAP Power user and Intermediate/Advanced MS Office suite experience
- Must be fluent in English, written and oral
