Tunnel Boring Machine Operator / Australia

A large multinational civil contractor with expanding operations in Victoria is currently seeking an experienced Tunnel Boring Machine Operator to join their team on Melbourne based projects. The position is full time and permanent, with much opportunity for career progression.
Key responsibilities for the position include active participation in assembly and disassembly of the TBM, ensuring alignment during operation, maintaining accurate records and ensuring the safety of the team and equipment.
To be successful, you must be physically fit for underground operations, have prior experience specifically as a Tunnel Boring Machine Operator, as well as having a clear understanding of equipment safety and relevant certifications including a valid driver’s license. Additionally you must have great listening and communication skills, the ability to work well with others in close quarters and an open mind to learning and developing on the job.
